It was the E3 convention in 2017 when we finally found out the details about the console formerly known as Project Scorpio. As it turned out, its real name is Xbox One X. This is an updated version of Xbox One: more powerful and upgraded. The main opponent of Microsoft, Sony made its move last year, releasing the PS4 Pro. So that's why the gaming community started to compare the two giants. We've explored the question, and we're ready to give you five main reasons that will convince you to buy the Xbox One X.

Why should you choose Xbox One X?

Which console to choose? Take a closer look at the design, consider the number of exclusives, and make your choice. Everything depends on your personal requests and financial. Of course, PlayStation 4 has several advantages, for example, the user interface, on the other hand, the Xbox One X has key features that outweigh the PS4 Pro, and here's they are:

1. The Xbox One X has a built-in 4K Blu-ray player.

If you want to run 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray CD, then you're out of luck with the PS4 Pro. But the Microsoft console provides you with such an opportunity. The first time you turn on the Xbox One X, you are greeted with bright and loud animation, bass sounds that emphasize the powerful nature of the first game console with a resolution of 4K. Microsoft does not forget to constantly remind about the high performance of the Xbox One X.

2. The Xbox One X is much more powerful than the PS4 Pro.

Xbox One X

Microsoft was not joking when they claimed Xbox One X as the most powerful console ever created. It blows away all competitors, and its performance competes with some gaming PCs. Unlike PS4, games on the Xbox One X work in the 4K resolution without using any tricks. Microsoft has 33% more power than its Japanese competitor, and cross-platform games prove it. This will remain an important factor in the coming years, as versions of popular Xbox One X games, such as Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed, work better than on Sony PS4 Pros.

Xbox One X is also the first console to support the new HDMI 2.1 format. This means that you will have a smoother motion of characters without any gaps or delays.

3. Xbox One X looks amazing.

The original Xbox One actually was a freak: a bulky drawer that looked like a VHS cassette player. But the Microsoft designers have done a great jog on their new lovechild.

Besides being the most powerful console ever, it is also more compact and more stylish than the PS4 Pro or basic Xbox One. This is a wonderful system with an internal power source that remains very quiet that will fit easily into any interior.

4. Xbox One X provides access to exclusive games

The PS4 Pro has an unrivaled line of console exclusives. Although it really depends on which exclusives you like best. If you're a fan of Halo, Gears of War or Forza racing, then the Xbox One X will be a clear winner. It is also known about that Microsoft signed some contracts with studios to get more exclusive games for their console: Undead Labs (State of Decay); Playground Games (Forza Horizon); Ninja Theory (Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice); Compulsion Games (We Happy Few); The Initiative (Brand new studio); inXile Entertainment (Wasteland 2); Obsidian Entertainment (Pillars of Eternity).

Some of the companies already had experience in releasing Xbox exclusives in the past. The State of Decay 2 is a major exclusive game released on the Xbox in 2018. Forza Horizon is Microsoft's most popular franchise. There are also several unique games like Ninja Theory or Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice that will be available on Xbox One X only.

5. Xbox One has the best gamepad.

For gamers, the gamepad is a second prime feature after the console's performance. Admittedly, the updated PS4 Pro gamepad is the best controller Sony has ever made. But it's still not as good as the Xbox One gamepad (or the Xbox One Elite gamepad).

Extra: backward compatibility

Unlike Sony, Microsoft has not forgotten about the old games. Xbox One X supports hundreds of projects that were designed for previous consoles. You can play classics like Metal Gear Solid HD, Portal, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and many others.

Moreover, you can play not only digital versions but also those on CD's, and the list of the games still updates. While the only way to play games for previous PlayStations on the PlayStation 4 is to wait for a remaster or reedition.

That's all, folks!

Actually, the PS4 Pro has a large number of games available, and its price is lower, but the console is almost a year old. The Xbox One X has a more powerful filling and, also a higher price. Considering their technical filling, we find the consoles going hand in hand.

The battle between the Xbox and PS consoles sometimes looks like an Android and Apple competition, but in this situation, there's an indisputable fact: Xbox One X is the most powerful console of all existing or ever existed consoles.

Perhaps this will change with the release of a new generation, but at the moment, Xbox One X is king. Xbox One X has a leader performance index among all consoles. It significantly exceeds the power of all other options, including the PS4 Pro. Even in terms of design, the Xbox One X looks much better.
