Bitoku

Bitoku is a strategy board game where players take on the roles of forest spirits aiming for transcendence and becoming the next great spirit of the forest. It involves hand management and engine-building, with players using yōkai cards to gain maximum benefits from their abilities. Throughout the game, players can acquire more yōkai cards, increasing their options and potential score. Additionally, players have yōkai guardians (represented by dice) to explore the forest, unlocking various options like building structures, generating resources, and aiding lost souls called mitamas using chinkon fireflies. With a wide range of actions and personal domain management, players can strategize while guiding pilgrims on journeys of contemplation and reflection, sharing experiences along the spirit path with the Bitoku.
